Trusty.care Raises $800k in Funding

trustycareTrusty.care, a New York-based healthcare tech startup, raised $800k in pre-seed funding.

Backers included Esther Dyson, Walter A. Winshall, StartUp Health, The Fund, Eclectic Fund, 37 Angels, Gaingels, and individual angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by CEO Joseph Schneier, Trusty.care provides a senior-focused data-driven platform for Medicare beneficiaries to reduce health care costs using predictive analytics.
The platform – soft-launched on Oct. 15, 2018, providing data on 100 Medicare-covered medications – has been authorized by CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) for integration with beneficiary claims data (Blue Button 2.0).
