Tonsser, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based football app for players to track their performance and showcase their potential, secured a €5.5m Series A funding.
The round was led by Alven Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its app.
Founded in 2014 by Peter Holm, and Simon Hjære, Tonsser provides an app for youth players to track their performances and build their football resume to showcase their potential to teammates, coaches and scouts across Europe, and matches them with clubs searching for talent.
The app, currently live in eight countries in Europe, has over 800k football players registered.
