Things Mobile, a Vicenza, Italy-based mobile operator dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine to machine (M2M), raised €300k in funding.
Backers included Angelsim Sarl e Zeromobile.
The company, which had already raised €4.25m, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and business growth.
Led by Manuel Zanella, CEO and co-founder, and Juan De la Coba, co-founder and COO, Things Mobile provides sim cards to SMEs operating in such industries as domotics, energy, logistics, healthcare, security and agritech and consumers to install them on their vehicles and domestic appliances to track and give commands.
In comparison to wifi, sim cards are more reliable because they levarage multinetwork connectivity. The company recently launched a new Unlimited plan in over 100 countries.
