ScanMovers, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based moving platform, raised €750k in funding.
Unnamed angels with a background in e-commerce, tech and insurance participated in the round.
The company, which has now raised a total of €1.25m, intends to use the funds to develop technology that enables the sharing of moving personnel and an app that makes moving stress-free.
Founded in 2016 by Maurits Koopman and Boyan Nijpels, ScanMovers provides a moving platform for people to arrange their move in the Benelux, giving users insight into prices, reviews, and service levels.
The company previously launched an innovative moving insurance with Meijers Assurantiën, where all movers can pay a premium per move instead of per month and will launch a new sharing platform for workers and buses next year.
