AppOnboard Raises $15M in Series B Funding

AppOnboardAppOnboard, a Los Angeles, CA-based mobile app demo and analytics platform for developers, raised $15M in Series B funding.

The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $30m, was led by Breakaway Growth Fund, with participation from new investors Tiller Partners & Rainier Partners, and existing investors Manta Ray Ventures, Runa Capital, Korea Investment Partners, Mirae Asset Management, MTGx, Troy Capital Partners, and 500 Startups. Breakaway Growth Fund’s Paul Heydon will take a seat on AppOnboard’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand globally in Europe and Asia with an office expansion planned in Seoul, specifically.

Founded in 2016 and led by Jonathan Zweig, CEO, and Bryan Buskas, COO, AppOnboard is a mobile app demo and analytics platform that powers app demos, which allow users to instantly experience an app or game without a download. The platform also enables app and game testing as well as product insights for developers. It currently partners with top global developers, such as Glu Mobile, FoxNext, Jam City, Game Insight, Huuuge Games, Kongregate, Simple Habit, Seriously, etc. The platform is also offering a 30-day free trial for its App Store Demos product to any new app developer looking to build and launch a Google Play Instant app on the Google Play store.
The company also has offices in San Francisco, Seattle and London.
