Paddle, a London, UK-based provider of a checkout, eCommerce, marketing and analytics platform, raised an additional $8m in new funding.
Backers in the round, which brought total funding to date to $25m, included Notion, BGF and Kindred Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its data, product and engineering teams.
Led by Founder and CEO Christian Owens, Paddle provides a checkout, eCommerce, marketing and analytics platform for software companies and developers to run and grow their business. Customers use the company’s checkout and licensing solution to sell their products globally and its analytics and marketing tools to understand and grow the businesses, rather than wasting time on building and maintaining everything that’s required to run operations.
Paddle currently has a team of over 100 people with customers in over 200 countries.
