EduMe Raises $1.8M in Seed Funding

edumeEduMe, a London, UK-based mobile-first training platform, raised $1.8m in seed funding.

The round was led by Connect Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Pietro Bezza, Managing Partner, Connect Ventures, will join the Board of director.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its business reach.

Led by Jacob Waern, Founder and CEO, EduMe provides a mobile first corporate training and communication platform for today’s workforce. Companies like Uber use EduMe’s microlearning system to train their workforce.
The company also announced that the UK and Germany are the most recent Uber markets to start using its platform.
