CognitionX Raises Further Funding; $4.1M To Date

cognitionxCognitionX, a London, UK-based provider of a library of up-to-the-minute AI news, raised further funding which brought the round total to $4.1M.

Backers included Unilever Ventures, The CXO Fund and other tech angels, including
– Gary Gauba, Founder of Cognilytics and Founder of The CXO Fund, and
– Manoj Saxena, Chairman of CognitiveScale and former IBM Watson General Manager.

The new funding comes as the company grows the network of AI experts on its platform, and begins signing up clients for the Enterprise Edition of its AI Advice Platform.

Founded in 2015 by Charlie Muirhead, CEO and Founder, CognitionX aims to bring clarity to, and accelerate adoption of, AI across all organizations from global enterprises to startups, and move to an AI-driven society.
The company runs CogX, a Festival of AI and emerging technology, provides an AI Advice Platform that connects users and organizations in real-time with news, products and a global network of technology experts.
CognitionX also delivers Custom Research for clients including the Mayor of London, Swedbank and Accenture.
