Coder Raises $4.5M in Seed Funding

coderCoder, an Austin, TX-based server-powered software development company, raised $4.5M in seed funding.

The round was co-led by Uncork Capital and Redpoint Ventures with participation from Founders Fund, Capital Factory, and John Kodumal, Quinn Slack, Grant Gregory, Alec Guettel, David Rosenblatt, and Gregory Kennedy from Advection Growth Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to continue to expand operations and develop the platform.

Led by CEO John Andrew Entwistle, Coder is building a cloud-powered software dev platform for software engineers to remove the limitations of local machines. Users can code in the browser, access up to 96 cores, Use VS code cloud, collaborate in real time, access Linux from any OS and maintain the workflow.
