zivverZivver, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based provider of a secure communications platform, raised $12M in funding.

The round was led by Dawn Capital with participation from DN Capital and the existing investor henQ Capital Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand globally.

Founded in in 2015 by Rick Goud and Wouter Klinkhamer, Zivver provides a full-stack platform that allows people to protect sensitive data. Its ISO-certified machine-aided software scans emails and attachments, flagging any unusual behaviour patterns, while asymmetric encryption protects all the data on the go. The platform also allows users to share files thousands times larger than the usual limits. No new account or app installation is required to access the tool.
