Thread Raises $22M in Series B Funding

threadThread, a London, UK-based online menswear personal styling platform, raised $22m in Series B funding.

The round, which brings total funding raised to date to over $40m, was led by Balderton Capital, Beringea, Forward Partners, and H&M Group’s investment arm H&M CO:LAB.

The company intends to use the funds to continue expanding its AI team and grow the branding efforts.

Founded in 2012 by Kieran O’Neill, Ben Kucsan, and Ben Phillips, Thread provides men with an online platform that combines expert stylists with AI to find and buy clothes, and receive tailored recommendations, without trying the items up.
The company has partnerships with several fashion brands including Barbour, Hugo Boss, Levi’s, and other emerging ones, employs approx. 100 people, and over 1 million users.
