ShopRunner Raises $40M in Growth Funding

ShopRunnerShopRunner, a Chicago, IL-based free two-day shipping payment e-commerce network connecting hundreds of retailers with millions of consumers, raised $40m in funding.

The round was led by August Capital. In conjunction with the funding, David Hornik, General Partner at August Capital, joined ShopRunner’s Board, along with Miki Berardelli, CEO of Kidbox and member of the Board of Directors of the National Retail Federation.

The company intends to use the funds accelerate growth and increase its investment in data science and product development.

Led by Sam Yagan, CEO, ShopRunner provides an e-commerce network which offers its members free two-day shipping, free returns, and seamless checkout. The company’s network partners include Neiman Marcus Group, Hudson’s Bay Company, Kate Spade & Company, & Cole Haan, and over one hundred others.
