Masthaven Receives £60M Investment from Värde Partners

masthavenMasthaven, a UK-based bank, received a £60m equity investment.

Värde Partners made the investment, which is subject to regulatory approval from the Bank of England.

The company intends to use the funds to increase its lending capacity for the to UK residential and SME markets over the next 3 to 5 years as well as to launch innovative deposit solutions.

Led by Andrew Bloom, founder and CEO, Masthaven Bank offers saving and lending products including fixed term savings accounts, bridging loans, development finance, and mortgages.
The bank is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority.

Masthaven was advised by Houlihan Lokey and PJT Partners, the corporate finance firms and Linklaters and Mishcon de Reya as lawyers. Värde Partners was advised by Slaughter and May.
