HoxHunt Raises €2.5M in Funding

hoxhuntHoxHunt, a Helsinki, Finland-based provider of a cybersecurity gamification platform, raised €2.5m in funding.

The round was led by Dawn Capital, with participation from existing investors Icebreaker and Risto Siilasmaa, chairman of Nokia and founder of F-Secure.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand the service globally.

Founded in 2016 by Mika Aalto, CEO, HoxHunt provides an automated phishing training and response platform that focuses on empowering employees to shield their own organisation.
The platform simulates attacks automatically and rewards employees for reporting real attacks. It works with a plugin that integrates with Outlook and Gmail.
