Forward Health, a London, UK-based provider of a healthcare messaging app, raised $3.9m in funding.
The round was led by Stride.VC, with participation from Albion Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of the app among doctors and clincians in the UK.
Founded in 2016 by Co-CEOs Dr Barney Gilbert, Philip Mundy and Dr Lydia Yarlott, Forward Health provides a messaging app for doctors and other healthcare professionals to securely communicate and improve patient care.
Users can:
– stay connected with instant messaging,
– share patient profiles and photographs securely, with data encrypted at all times, and nothing stored on the device,
– create patient lists and tasks to share with the team, and
– record, share and update the work.
