Chief, a NYC-based private network of leadership women, closed a $3m seed funding round.
The round was led by Primary Venture Capital and Flybridge Capital Partners, with participation from Accel, Box Group, Able Partners, XFactor Ventures, Silas Capital, BBG Ventures, and LearnVest Founder and CEO Alexa Von Tobel.
Co-founded by CEO Carolyn Childers and CMO Lindsay Kaplan, Chief aims to promote and accelerate female leadership, starting at the top. Inspired by the male-dominated executive community YPO, it will provide its vetted community of people personalized programming and meaningful connectivity online and off.
The company will launch this winter with a group of founding members across business, tech, media, and the arts.
