The round was led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from Mangrove Capital Partners.
The company, which has raised $207.5m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds:
– to continue to grow worldwide, localizing its offerings in new markets such as Asia Pacific and Europe,
– to invest in securing multinational customers, as well as
– to expand its solution offering through additional technology acquisitions.
Led by Dan Adika, co-founder and CEO, WalkMe provides a Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) that uses artificial intelligence, engagement, guidance and automation to assist users to complete tasks within any enterprise software, mobile application or website. The software is used by nearly 2,000 enterprises globally, including 30 percent of Fortune 500 companies.
Founded in 2011, WalkMe has close to 660 employees located in seven offices worldwide in the U.S., Europe and APAC.
The company has made three acquisitions to date, including:
– machine learning company DeepUI in June 2018,
– visual analytics company Jaco in April 2017, and
– native mobile AI company Abbi in January 2017.
