TurboTenant Raises $2.2M in Funding

turbotenantTurboTenant, a Fort Collins, Colo.-based free internet platform for tenants and landlords, raised $2.2m in funding.

The round was led by Kirk Holland of Access Venture Partners in Denver, Colorado, with participation from
– Service Provider Capital, an early stage venture fund
– Michael Beaudoin, co-founder of HomeAdvisor
– Karl Sowa, former CMO of HomeAdvisor.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product and marketing efforts and build out a larger team of employees.

Led by Sarnen Steinbarth, Founder and CEO, TurboTenant provides a front end to the rental process, including placing listings on multiple rental sites and enabling potential tenants to find the rental properties that fit their needs.
It features rental marketing, online rental applications, tenant screening, renters insurance, tenant management and communication, as well as landlord forms and education.

More than 100,000 landlords in all 50 states use the platform.
