Secure Code Warrior Raises $3.5M in Funding

scwSecure Code Warrior, a secure application development company, raised $3.5m in funding.

The round was led by Paladin Capital Group, with participation from Sydney-based AirTree Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to further expand its sales, marketing and customer success presence in the United States, while continuing to innovate through engineering hubs in Belgium and Australia.

Co-founded and led by security experts CEO Pieter Danhieux and CTO Matias Madou Ph.D., Secure Code Warrior provides a SaaS based secure application development platform to customers including financial services, telecommunications and technology companies in over 15 countries.
The system features secure coding tools for developers to write secure code from the start and in-line with a company’s established coding policies. The platform includes:
– gamified, online training;
– a skill-testing tournament mode; and
– a real-time spellchecker-style autocorrect coaching plugin.

Secure Code Warrior has offices in Sydney, London, Bruges and Boston.
