nSpireMe Raises £300K in Pre-Seed Funding

nspiremenSpireMe, a London, UK-based music practice app, raised £300k in pre-seed funding round.

The round was led by Forward Partners.

Founded in 2017 by conductor and music entrepreneur Stuart Barr, nSpireMe has developed a practice buddy app that listens to children as they practice and gives them real time encouraging feedback, enabling them to accelerate progress and develop motivation to practice.

The app works by allowing kids to stream their sheet music with their teacher’s notes, listen back to their playing and also receive real time actionable feedback on how to improve. The platform also brings together the parents and teachers, enabling them to understand children’s progress.

Music entrepreneur Stuart Barr is a renowned orchestral conductor, having worked with artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Elton John, Sting, Paloma Faith and Andrea Bocelli as well as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
