Fancy Sprinkles, a Los Angeles, CA-based woman-owned, women-run, direct-to-consumer, e-commerce business that offers confectionery sprinkles, received its first institutional investment from Sterling Partners.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach, as well as to grow its product pipeline and retail partnerships.
Launched in 2016 by CEO and Creative Director Lisa Stelly Osbourne, Fancy Sprinkles provides decorative, sweet, and high-end toppers, sold à la carte, through a monthly subscription, and through partnerships, including an upcoming engagement with Neiman Marcus. Products include:
– vegan sprinkles,
– crunchy and round sprinkles,
– seasonal sprinkles,
– sugar shapes such as stars and hearts, and
– Crunchy Jimmies, a powdered sugar-based sprinkle.
