Deuxièmeavis.fr, a Paris, France-based tele health startup, reportedly raised €2.5M in funding.
Backers included Invest & +, Citizen Capital and Colam Impact.
The company, which has raised €3.5m in total, intends to use the funds to extend its service and expand its business reach.
Co-founded in 2016 by Pauline d’Orgeval, Deuxièmeavis.fr provides an online complementary platform for serious health patients to get access to specialized doctors, who can validate a diagnosis previously made by a colleague. The solution allows patients to send their documents and fill out a questionnaire and receive back a diagnosis within seven days, which can facilitate their decision making process, such as having surgery, by what technique, having alternative treatments, etc. Patients can also ask doctors specific questions.
The doctors are experts in a given disease and their expertise is verified by the company’s Scientific Advisory Board. The platform now features over 100 doctors, covering approx. 300 diseases.
