Contentos, a Shangai, China-based decentralized global content ecosystem, received an investment from NEO Global Capital (NGC).
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by Mick Tsai, Contentos is a public blockchain project specifically designed and built to solve the main challenges the global digital content industry faces today, such as content distribution, monetization, authentication, and copyright management.
The platform enables creators to monetize their content encouraging collaboration with advertisers, fans, and other creators as well as rewarding positive contributions to the community.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its development efforts, exploring tech-based solutions such as gift exchange and a trading system.
