Allplants, a London, UK-based B-Corp startup that delivers ready-made plant-based meals, raised £7.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from Felix Capital, Otiva, unnamed partners at VerlInvest (in their personal capacity), David Milner (ex-CEO Tyrells), Simon Nixon (founder of MoneySupermarket), and Jack Harries (a video blogger).
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the food offering, accelerate the growth of its community, and grow its team.
Founded in 2017 by brothers Jonathan and Alex Petrides, Allplants prepares and delivers chef-prepared, flash frozen, plant-based food anywhere in the UK.
The 40 employee strong company says it has already served over 250,000 meals nationwide.
