Revibe Technologies Raises Undisclosed Funding Round

revibeRevibe Technologies (formerly known as FokusLabs Behavioral Solutions), a Wake Forest, NC-based manufacturer of Revibe Anti-Distraction Wristwear, received a funding round of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by Multi-Health Systems, with participation from CoFounders Capital, Bootstrap Advisors, BioVenture Partners, Tamiami Angel Fund, Charlotte Angel Fund, RTP Capital, and Blount Street Capital. As part of the deal, MHS President Hazel Wheldon joined the Revibe Technologies’ Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the capital to fund the launch of future technologies for Revibe.

Led by Founder and CEO Rich Brancaccio, who spent most of his career specializing in ADHD and Autism, Revibe Technologies provides a reminder wristband that reminds users to stay on-task in classrooms, at home, or in office settings. The wearable product mainly monitors and improves on-task behavior and productivity for students who struggle to stay focused and attentive in their day to day activities.
In the past year, the company received funding from the US Department of Education, NC Dept. of Commerce, and the the Kenan Institute of Engineering, Technology and Science to fund research and development of the Revibe platform.
