nView medical, a Salt Lake City, UT-based surgical imaging company, raised $1.2m in seed financing.
The round was led by Fusion Fund, with participation from angel investors and matching funds from the National Science Foundation and the State of Utah.
The company intends to use the funds to develop research partnerships with clinical institutions and obtain regulatory clearance.
Led by Cristian Atria, CEO, nView medical develops AI-based image creation technology for the operating room.
