Edison Partners, a Princeton, N.J.—based growth equity investment firm, has expanded its investment team with the appointment of Daniel Herscovici as Partner.
Herscovici is a recognized leader in Smart Home, IoT and digital transformation.
As an investment partner, Herscovici’s initial focus will be on the firm’s Enterprise Solutions sector, sourcing and leading investments and helping companies optimize their business strategies and models.
He will spend considerable time in the IoT sector and with companies where small businesses and consumers are target markets.
Herscovici most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Xfinity Home, the Comcast Home Security, Smart Home and IoT business unit.
Edison Partners is growth investment firm that targets companies with $5 to $20 million in revenue in the financial technology, healthcare IT, and enterprise technology sectors. Investments also include buyouts, recapitalizations, spinouts and secondary stock purchases.
The firm has invested in more than 200 private companies to date with recent investments including:
– Bento for Business, a Chicago-based provider of financial management solutions for small and midsize businesses, and
