Digital Magazine App Readly Raises €10M

readlyReadly, a Stockholm, Sweden-based digital magazine newsstand, raised €10m in funding.

Backers included Swedbank Robur and Zouk Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand internationally and grow in its existing markets.

Led by Jörgen Gullbrandson, CEO, Readly offers an app for tablets and mobile phones that allows customers to access to national and international magazines for a monthly subscription fee. Its service has readers in 46 markets, who can get access to over 3,200 national and international digital magazines.

The company is present in Sweden, UK, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and plans to expand to other markets soon.
