Cybersecurity Company HYAS Raises $6.2M in Series A Funding Round

CyberSecurityHyas, a Victoria, British Columbia, Canada-based provider of attribution intelligence tools for infosec and cybersecurity professionals, raised $6.2m in a Series A funding.

The round was led by M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund, with participation from Startup Capital Ventures, 205 Capital, Wesley Clover and cybersecurity professionals Tim Eades and Tom Noonan.

The company will use the funds to continue to build out its current products and services and introduce new technology with real-time visibility and attribution into attacks and breaches across global networks.

Led by Founder and Chief Executive Officer Chris Davis, Hyas provides Fortune 100 companies, as well as governments, law enforcement and intelligence agencies, with an attribution intelligence platform, Comox, which gives them access to billions of exclusive threat indicators. Searching and cross-referencing a broad array of proprietary data, Comox provides new visibility for analysts, threat researchers and investigators, increasing the accuracy of their findings and their ability to respond quickly to threats.
