BabelBark Raises $4.5M in Series A Financing

BabelBarkBabelBark, Inc., a Newton, MA-based pet related software developer, completed a $4.5m Series A funding.

The $4.5m represents an increase to the original Series A funding target of $2.9m.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its reach and services globally, invest in additional marketing resources and recruit top talent.

Launched in 2016 by Roy Stein, CEO, and Bill Rebozo, product and market strategist, BabelBark connects pets with pet care businesses (i.e. veterinary practices, trainers, shelters, groomers, walkers, pet sitters, boarding kennels, and more within the pet care community) through a digital platform with a mobile application.
The company offers activity monitoring, connection to primary care and emergency veterinary services, medical records and medication reminders, regional/local pet service providers and tailor-matched products to prescriptively and proactively allow pet parents to monitor and manage their pet’s unique needs.
