Altum Technologies, a Helsinki, Finland-based provider of solutions for companies to remove industrial fouling and solve water management issues, raised a Series A funding round of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Maki.vc with participation from Lifeline Ventures.
The company is using the funds to expand to the United States.
Founded in 2016 and led by Matias Tainela, CEO, Altum Technologies has developed solutions for companies to remove industrial fouling and solve water management issues. Its power ultrasound penetrates the industrial equipment’s walls – without causing damage – to remove fouling in minutes. Fouling refers to accumulated dirt inside industrial equipment. Unlike other cleaning solutions, the system uses no chemicals and causes no production stoppages as no disassembly of equipment is required.
The company has customers all over the globe and is planning further international expansion, growing the team, and accelerating product development. In the USA, Altum Technologies is working in collaboration with WaterStart in Las Vegas. Esteban Soto, the company’s Marketing Director, will lead the North American operations from Las Vegas.
