ScaleFactor Raises $10M Series A Funding Round

ScaleFactorScaleFactor, an Austin, Texas—based smart finance and accounting platform that enables businesses to operate in real-time, raised $10m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Canaan Partners with participation from Broadhaven Ventures, Citi Ventures, Next Coast Ventures, Flyover Capital, Firebrand Ventures and strategic angel investors.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its marketing and business development teams as well as invest in enhancing technology offerings on its accounting platform for SMBs.

Led by Kurt Rathmann, CEO and founder, ScaleFactor provides smart accounting and finance software that automates taxes, inventory, invoicing, bill pay, payroll and 1099 management, and integrates with other core software like Xero, Quickbooks, Gusto, Expensify, Salesforce, Shopify and others, to enable business owners, managers and entrepreneurs to focus on running and growing their business.
