Industry Ventures Closes Hybrid Fund of Funds, at $335M

Industry Ventures, a San Francisco, CA-based investment firm focused on venture capital, closed its fifth hybrid fund of funds, with total commitments of $335m.

Led by Ken Wallace and Roland Reynolds, Managing Directors of the hybrid fund strategy, Industry Ventures Partnership Holdings V, L.P., will continue the same strategy of primary commitments and early secondary purchases in smaller, early-stage venture capital funds as well as direct co-investments alongside these small funds.

The new fund brings the firm’s total institutional committed capital under management to $3.4 billion, with $1.1 billion dedicated to our hybrid fund of funds and direct co-investment strategies.

Led by Hans Swildens, CEO and Founder, Industry Ventures is an investment firm that focuses on venture capital. The firm has three investment strategies: secondary investments, hybrid fund of funds investments and direct co-investments. Founded in 2000, the firm is headquartered in San Francisco with an office in Washington, D.C.
