AI Enterprise Service Management Platform Espressive Raises $23M

espressiveEspressive, a Santa Clara, CA-based AI driven enterprise service management platform, raised $23m in funding.

Backers included General Catalyst Partners and Wing Venture Capital.

The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by Pat Calhoun, CEO, Espressive provides an AI based for enterprise service management (ESM) solution, which allows employees to get help.
Barista, the company’s virtual support agent (VSA), brings the ease of consumer virtual assistants, such as Alexa and Google Home, into the workplace. It delivers a personalized user experience that results in employee adoption of 50 to 60 percent and reduced help desk call volume of 30 to 50 percent.

The board of directors of the company consists of:
– Steve Herrod, Managing Director at General Catalyst,
– Gaurav Garg, founding partner of Wing Venture Capital, and
– independent board member Tony Zingale, former CEO of Mercury Interactive and Jive Software, and
– Mr. Calhoun.
