SaaS Travel Startup Triptease Secures $4M in Funding

Triptease, a London, UK-based travel SaaS startup, secured $4m in funding.

Backers in the round included BGF and Notion Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to build its business in Asia, where it opened a Singapore office last year, to innovate its product, in particular by stepping up the roll out of its automated chatbot to more hoteliers, and to invest in its Direct Booking Summit, one of the hospitality industry’s biggest events for hoteliers which takes place in different regions around the world three times a year.

Co-founded by Charlie Osmond, CEO, Alasdair Snow, and Alexandra Zubko, Triptease is a travel SaaS company that builds digital tools that create better experiences and relationships between hotels and guests. When hotels employ Triptease, travellers can compare prices in real time. The platform also gives hotels tools to accomodate their prices, personalize messages to travellers and engage customers through recommendations, resulting in a significant improvement in direct booking.
The company’s team has also added Richard Collins, Chief Revenue Officer, and Alexandra Zubko, Chief Customer Officer.
