Reorg Research Receives Investment from Warburg Pincus

Reorg Research, a NYC-based provider of real-time news, analysis and commentary on issues affecting the distressed debt, event-driven and leveraged finance markets, received an investment from Warburg Pincus.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds for continued growth.

Founded in 2013 by former distressed debt investor Kent Collier, Reorg Research is a provider of real-time news, commentary, and analysis on issues affecting the distressed debt, event-driven and leveraged finance markets. The company leverages proprietary technology to collect data in real-time and apply machine learning and natural language processing to filter the information, all in one place.
Reorg consists of a dedicated team of journalists and legal, financial and policy analysts that leverage the firm’s proprietary technology to provide a comprehensive view of the situations that are important to its subscribers. The company currently has a suite of six SaaS-based products, each with a distinct value proposition for hedge funds, investment banks, law firms and financial advisors to make better business and investment decisions.
