PolyCera Membranes Closes $9M Series A Funding Round

PolyCera Membranes, a Los Angeles, CA-based developer of membrane technology for industrial wastewater treatment and process separation, completed a $9m Series A funding round.

The round was led by Kairos Ventures with follow on capital provided by Bluestem Capital and the Wolfen Group.

The company intends to use the funds to build out its global manufacturing, R&D and sales capabilities.

Led by Simon Marshall, Chief Executive Officer, and Eric Hoek, Founder and Chairman, PolyCera Membranes develops and markets membrane technology for industrial wastewater treatment and process separation. It has more than 80 completed installations on three continents and an additional 27 trials running on six continents.
Backed by an IP portfolio of 61 patents, the company continues to expand the range of applications for its technology to include nano-filtration and chlorine resistant reverse osmosis membranes.
