Goiko Grill, a Madrid, Spain-based restaurant chain, received an investment from L Catterton.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth in Spain and internationally and plans to cover 20 cities with 58 venues by the end of the year 2018.
Founded in 2013 by Andoni Goicoechea, CEO, Goiko Grill is a Spanish casual dining concept providing gourmet burgers currently operating 44 sites, in 15 Spanish cities. The company also pioneered the development of the delivery-specialized kitchen to actively address the delivery market.
