Digital Mental Health Therapy Startup Healios Raises £2.2M

Healios, a Southampton, UK-based digital health therapy startup for mental health, raised £2.2m in funding.

The round was led by Albion Capital and Spice Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to scale up operations, enable accessibility for NHS trusts and private organizations to use its online treatment platform, and further product development.

Founded in 2013 by Richard Andrews, Chairman and CEO, Healios is a digital mental healthcare company, providing children, young people, and adults with access to mental health and neurodevelopmental services by blending technology with specialized clinical expertise and evidence-based clinical tools.
The company’s clinical platform facilitates psychological assessments, treatments, wellbeing monitoring and clinical time with qualified clinicians through video conferencing and interactive digital tools.

The service is currently integrated into the NHS network, operating on a seven day basis to give patients an unprecedented treatment experience.
