Cybersecurity Company Cheq Raises $5M in Series A Funding

Cheq, a NYC-based cybersecurity company, raised $5M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Itzik Parnafes, a Battery general partner, is joining Cheq’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand adoption of its solutions.

Led by Guy Tytunovich, CEO, and Ehud Levy, Chairman of the Board, Cheq provides a cybersecurity platform that utilizes AI and Natural Language Processing to rapidly analyze content and users to prevent unsafe brand placements and ad fraud in real time. This allows brands to prevent in real time that their ads are served to bots or alongside negative content.

The company has offices in Tokyo, New York and Tel Aviv.
