Skykick Raises $40m in Funding

Skykick, a Seattle, WA-based provider of SaaS cloud automation and management products for Microsoft information technology service providers, raised $40m in funding.

Backers included Navin Thukkaram, Tim Ferriss, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, Craig Nerenberg, and other large private investors.

The company, which has now raised over $65m to date, will use the additional funds to continue to expand its product portfolio of cloud automation and management products, and increase its investment in people and resources.

Co-Founded and led by Co-CEOs Todd Schwartz and Evan Richman, SkyKick is a global provider of SaaS cloud automation and management products for Microsoft information technology (IT) service providers. Its suite of cloud management products are designed to enable IT solution providers, managed service providers, system integrators, resellers and distributors in more than 125 countries to automate their customers’ Microsoft Office 365 migrations, data backups and service management to be more agile and cloud centric.

The company has 150 employees in offices based in Seattle, Europe and Asia Pacific and, in the coming months, plans to add to its team of software engineers, sales, business development and marketing professionals around the world.
