P101 Launches New €120M Venture Capital Fund; First Closes at €60M

P101 SGR, an Italian venture capital firm, is launching a new €120m fund.

The new fund, named Programma 102, already held the first closing at €65m with the support from Fondo Italiano d’Investimento, European Investment Fund, Azimut, Fondazione Sardegna and some family offices and entrepreneurs.

Programma 102 will focus on investing in early stage to later stage companies, operating in both B2C and B2B sectors, with tickets from €1-€2m to €8-€10m for any single company.

The vehicle will invest in such industries as:
– food,
– fashion,
– design,
– travel,
– real estate,
– fintech and
– cybersecurity.

Led by Andrea Di Camillo, Managing Partner and founder, P101 has already invested over €40m in four years in 26 companies including BorsadelCredito.it, Cortilia, Tannico, MusixMatch and Musement, realizing such exits as Bauzaar and Octorate.
With the final close of this new fund, the firm will have €200m in AUM.
