Klaxoon Raises $50M in Series B Funding

Klaxoon, a Rennes, France-based provider of teamwork solutions, secured $50m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Idinvest Partners with participation from additional early round investors including Bpifrance, Sofiouest, Arkea and White Star Capital Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to boost its R&D development of its collaboration tools and to expand its business operations in North America and Europe.

Launched in 2015 and led by Matthieu Beucher, CEO, Klaxoon provides teams with a SaaS platform to make meetings more efficient via tools to increase engagement, facilitate decisions, improve information retention, encourage creativity and track actionable outcomes.
The company’s solutions have more than a million active users at small businesses and major players such Toyota, Dior, L’Oréal, Johnson & Johnson, Air France, Accenture and Marriot, in more than 120 countries.

Available from $19 a month on a SaaS subscription model, the company’s offering consists of:
– Klaxoon – An online platform that accessible from any connected device offering a range of tools and apps to manage, enhance and track a range of meeting activities from timekeeping and engagement to brainstorming and interactive training.
– MeetingBoard – An interactive whiteboard that provides access to the platform.
– Klaxoon Box – A closed Wi-Fi network for participants to connect to Klaxoon, which is used when internet is not available or the utmost security is required.

The company currently employees more than 150 people in Rennes, New York. It also operates a showcase Klaxoon Store in the center of Paris.
