Fragrance Company Scentbird Raises $18.6M in Series A Funding

Scentbird, a New York-based subscription-based fragrance company, raised $18.6 in Series A funding.

The round was led by Goodwater Capital, with participation from Y Combinator, Rainfall Ventures, FundersClub, Soma Capital, Scrum Ventures, ERA, and others.

The company will use the proceeds to accelerate product innovation and market expansion with an added focus on consumer experience and new talent.

Co-founded by Mariya Nurislamova (CEO), Sergei Gusev (COO), Andrei Rebrov (CTO), and Rachel ten Brink (CMO), Scentbird is a monthly subscription service that gives members the opportunity to choose from over 500+ designer and niche men’s, women’s, and unisex fragrances each month.
The company, which recently launched a namesake line of personal care and home fragrance products, has grown from only 400 subscribers to now over 250,000 subscribers across the United States.
