Auth0 Raises $55M in Series D Funding

Auth0, a Bellevue, Wash.-based Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) platform provider, raised $55m in Series D funding.

The round, which brings total financing-to-date to more than $110m, was led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from World Innovation Lab, as well as from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Trinity Ventures, Meritech Capital Partners, and K9 Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue innovation of its Universal Identity Platform, accelerate go-to-market programs, and drive global expansion.

Led by Eugenio Pace, CEO and Co-founder, Auth0 provides enterprise customers with a SaaS Universal Identity Platform for their web, mobile, IoT, and internal applications. The platform, which authenticates and secures more than 1.5B logins per month, is used by companies such as VMware, AMD, Mazda, NVIDIA, News Corp, and thousands of others.
The company also has additional offices in Buenos Aires, London, Tokyo, and Sydney, supporting customers located in 70+ countries.
