Snooper Raises AUD$1M in Funding

Snooper, an Australian crowdsourcing platform for brands and retailers to collect data, raised AUD$1m in funding.

The round was led by Microequities Venture Capital Fund. Following the investment, Daniel Szekely from Microequities will join the Snooper board.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate growth in Australia, recruit talent, strengthen the user base in regional areas and develop innovative new features in close collaboration with flagship clients.

Launched late 2016 by Romain Stas and Laurie Wespes, Snooper provides a platform that allows brands and retailers to instantly connect with their shoppers around the country by uploading paid ‘missions’ to collect in-store data.
Clients include brands like Heineken, Unilever and Coca-Cola.
