Insider Raises US$11M Series B Funding Round

Insider, a Singapore-based provider of a growth management platform, raised US$11m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Sequoia India, with participation from existing investors Wamda Capital and Dogan Group.

The company intends to use the funds to double down in Asia.

Led by Hande Cilingir, CEO & Co-founder, Insider provides a deep AI and Machine Learning growth management platform that enables marketers to create more intelligent interactions with their customers through exposing them to the most relevant content on their preferred channels. The platform offers digital marketers a full suite of features across the entire growth funnel, from Acquisition to Activation, Retention and Revenue and delivers real-time insights and personalization across web, mobile web, mobile app and ad channels.
The company operates in 15 markets worldwide, including Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, UK and Australia, working with some of the biggest Asian and global brands, such as Singapore Airlines, Tokopedia, UNIQLO, Virgin, Tiki, Samsung, New Balance, Newsweek, McDonald’s, Ticketmaster, Nissan, BBVA, Allianz and CNN.

Insider, which launched in Istanbul in 2012, moved to Singapore last year. It has offices in London, Singapore, Tokyo, Dubai, Moscow, Warsaw, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Istanbul, Kiev, Sydney, Seoul, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Taipei.
