IFTTT Raises $24M in Funding

IFTTT (which stands for “If This, Then That”), a San Francisco-based provider of a tool for users to connect their apps, services and smart devices, raised $24m in funding.

The round was led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from IBM, Chamberlain Group and Fenox Venture Capital.

The company, which has now raised $63m in total funding, intends to use the funds to to hire talent to and expand its platform.

Founded in 2010 by CEO Linden Tibbets, IFTTT provides a platform for consumers, developers, startups, and enterprises collaborate to build connected solutions.
Customers have the opportunity to integrate with over 600 devices and apps including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Twitter, BMW, Samsung, IBM, MyQ, and Verizon, ranging from smart home to connected cars to social media services, opening up important connections across several industries.
More than 5,000 active developers build services on the platform.
