GitPrime Raises $10.5M in Series A Funding

GitPrime, a Durango, Colo.-based provider of a software engineering analytics platform, raised $10.5M in Series A financing.

The round, which has raised $13M in total funding, was led by OpenView, with participation from existing investor Data Collective. In conjunction with the funding, Mackey Craven, Partner at OpenView, joined the GitPrime board.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its product and continue to scale their team.

Led by Travis Kimmel, co-founder and CEO, and Ben Thompson, co-founder and Chief Customer Officer, GitPrime brings visibility into the software development process and enables communication between engineering and stakeholders. The company analyzes the data from the codebase, ticketing system, and engineering’s existing tool chain to provide accurate answers based on facts.
GitPrime also allows organizations to set process improvement targets and understand how they compare to industry benchmarks.

Customers include Disney, HelloFresh, Magento and Cigna, among others.
