Drift Raises $60M in Series C Funding

Drift, a Boston, MA-based provider of a conversational marketing and sales platform, raised $60m in Series C financing.

The round, which brings total funding to $107m, was led by Sequoia Capital with participation from previous investors CRV and General Catalyst.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations in both Boston and San Francisco.

Founded in 2014 and led by CEO David Cancel, Drift provides a conversational marketing and sales platform used by businesses to connect with the best leads in real-time, 24/7, and have real conversations with qualified buyers.
Over 100,000 businesses currently use Drift from around the world, including companies like AdRoll, Cornerstone OnDemand, Dyn, InVision, MongoDB, Vidyard, and Zuora.
